Jouplast pedestal

Jouplast, a leading French manufacturer, offers sturdy, easy-to-install pedestals in two ranges: Essentiel (affordable) and Cleman (premium, adjustable from above).

Jouplast, the French benchmark

A French manufacturer, Jouplast is known for the sturdiness and easy installation of its pedestals. The offer is built around two ranges: Essentiel, affordable and proven, and Cleman, more advanced with a wide adjustment range.

Laid without glue or grout, a terrace on pedestals stays removable and drains perfectly: water runs off through the joints, air circulates under the slabs and utility ducts pass beneath the surface.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best brand of terrace pedestals?

There is no universal "best" brand: the right choice depends on your budget, the height to make up and the type of adjustment you want. Jouplast is the benchmark in France for its sturdiness and availability, while YEED offers excellent value for money. Both are perfectly suited to porcelain stoneware.

Why choose Jouplast?

For French manufacturing, complete ranges (fixed, adjustable, self-leveling), great sturdiness and a wide ecosystem of compatible accessories: extensions, slab support plates, slope correctors and the MODULESCA step system. A safe bet for a durable porcelain stoneware terrace.

How wide is a Jouplast pedestal?

The wide head of Jouplast pedestals spreads the load effectively under porcelain stoneware slabs. The size of the base depends on the type of pedestal chosen. A 8/20 pedestal has a 170 mm base, while a 140/230 pedestal has a 208 mm base. The taller the pedestal, the wider its base, for stability.

What is the maximum height of a Jouplast terrace pedestal?

It depends on the range and on adding extensions: the Essentiel and Cleman ranges take up to 4 extensions, for a maximum height of 470 mm (excluding the surface covering).

Which outdoor products does Jouplast offer?

Fixed, adjustable and self-leveling pedestals (Essentiel and Cleman ranges), extensions, slab support plates and slab holders, slope correctors, anti-noise pads and rubber pads, adjustment bits, and the MODULESCA step system. Everything you need to equip a terrace on pedestals from A to Z.

What are the advantages of Jouplast terrace pedestals?

Sturdiness, stability, installation without complex tools, compatibility between the brand's components and French manufacturing. The ranges cover every situation, from the economical fixed pedestal to the Cleman adjustable from above.

What is the difference between the Essentiel and Cleman ranges?

Essentiel is the entry-level range, sturdy and economical, covering everyday needs. Cleman is the higher range, with more advanced heads and a wider adjustment range, designed for more demanding projects.

Are Jouplast accessories interchangeable between ranges?

Extensions and heads are specific to each range: a Jouplast extension must be paired with a Jouplast pedestal from the same family. Universal accessories such as shims remain compatible.

Are Jouplast pedestals suitable for 20 mm porcelain stoneware?

Yes, that is their main use. They are sized to take 20 mm ceramic slabs, with tabs that ensure an even joint between the slabs.
