Pedestal extension

The extension fits under the pedestal to increase its height when the adjustment range is no longer enough. Stackable, it extends the pedestal's reach while keeping it stable.

What is it for?

The extension clips onto the pedestal to increase its height and make up a large difference in level without changing model. Laid without glue or grout, a terrace on pedestals stays removable and drains perfectly: water runs off through the joints, air circulates under the slabs and utility ducts pass beneath the surface.

Frequently asked questions

My terrace pedestals are not tall enough: what should I do?

Add a compatible extension under the pedestal: it raises the height by one step and can be stacked to go higher. It is the way to exceed a pedestal's maximum adjustment range without changing model.

Which pedestals are YEED extensions compatible with?

As a rule, YEED extensions are paired with YEED (ORIGIN) pedestals to guarantee a secure fit and stability.

Which pedestals are Jouplast extensions compatible with?

Stay within the Jouplast ecosystem (Essentiel/Cleman) for a reliable fit. Be careful to choose the extension compatible with your range: an "Essentiel" extension cannot be used on a "Cleman" pedestal.

What load can pedestal extensions bear?

A properly fitted extension keeps the pedestal's load capacity; stacking several extensions over a great height may require more pedestals.

Is an extension compatible with all pedestals?

No: an extension is specific to its range. A Jouplast extension fits a Jouplast pedestal, a YEED extension a YEED pedestal. Always check compatibility before ordering.

Can you stack several extensions?

Some ranges allow it, within a limit set by the manufacturer. Beyond that, it is safer to switch to a tall pedestal designed from the outset for that height.
