8 mm pedestal

Terrace pedestals — 8 mm height

8 mm pedestals and shims are used to create an even joint or make up a very small height. Laid without glue or grout, a terrace on pedestals stays removable and drains perfectly: water runs off through the joints, air circulates under the slabs and utility ducts pass beneath the surface.

Need more height? An extension increases a pedestal's reach without changing model.

Our experts' tip: if your project falls at the top of a range, take the next range up and set it to its minimum: you will keep some margin and gain stability.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if the 8 mm height suits my project?

Measure the distance between your finished substrate and the desired terrace level, then subtract the thickness of the slab (20 mm in general). The result should fall within the range, ideally not at the top end.

What if my height exceeds this range?

You can either move up to the next adjustment range or add an extension compatible with your pedestal range, which gains height without changing model.
