The ESSENTIEL 80/140 mm adjustable paving pedestal from Jouplast is the foundation of a raised terrace installed on pedestals. Height-adjustable to the nearest millimeter, it creates a perfectly level laying surface over any substrate: concrete slab, screed, old terrace, roof terrace or stabilized ground. Pedestal installation keeps the structure ventilated, accessible and fully removable. Allow 4 pedestals per slab for sizes up to 60x60 cm.

Precise adjustment with the adjustment ring, before laying the surface

The pedestal height is simply set with the adjustment ring: screw or unscrew the base to adjust the height between 80 and 140 mm. This adjustment is made before laying the surface, so you can prepare a perfectly level laying plane before installing the slabs. Setting out is quick and done by hand, with no special tools.

Compatible with all your terrace surfaces

This pedestal takes concrete slabs, porcelain stoneware and 2 cm outdoor tiles, as well as duckboards, without joints or glue. The slabs rest freely on the heads: the terrace stays ventilated and removable, and gives access at any time to the substrate, drains or utilities underneath. The 3 mm spacer tabs built into the head ensure an even joint between each slab.

Sturdy, durable and standards-compliant

Molded in UV-treated polypropylene, this pedestal is weather resistant, withstands freeze/thaw cycles and supports a load of more than one ton, far beyond the needs of a pedestrian terrace. It retains its mechanical properties from -30 °C to +60 °C. Compliant with DTU 43.1, it is suitable for terraces laid over a waterproofing system. It is made in France and guaranteed for 2 years.
