Anti-noise rubber pad for Jouplast paving pedestals. The contact pad is an accessory used when installing a paving terrace on pedestals. This small shim is placed on the head of the paving pedestals and dampens resonance in the terrace while compensating for differences in slab thickness.

Using the acoustic rubber pad for terrace pedestals

When installing a paving terrace on pedestals, it is best to optimize the sound insulation of the whole assembly. Using the contact pad reduces noise and vibration in the structure and thus dampens resonance.

The contact pad also compensates for differences in thickness between the tile slabs used. It can also be used for shimming.

The contact pad is placed directly on the head of the paving pedestal: cutouts let the 4 lugs on top of the pedestals pass through. No more dull thuds as you walk: thanks to the contact rubber shims, your terrace offers optimal acoustic comfort.
