This pack combines in a single product the Jouplast ESSENTIEL 155/245 mm self-leveling paving pedestal and the acoustic rubber pad that sits on its head. You order one line instead of two: the number of pads always matches your number of pedestals exactly, with nothing forgotten at the end of the layout.

This is the largest self-leveling range in the ESSENTIEL range. Along the facade, use a row of standard pedestals instead of self-leveling ones to lock the slabs in line with thresholds and French windows.

What the acoustic rubber pad changes

Laid directly on the pedestal head, a porcelain stoneware slab clatters underfoot and transmits vibration into the structure. The acoustic rubber pad sits between the head and the surface to decouple the two. It dampens impact noise, spreads the bearing under the corner of the slab and holds it in place during adjustment. It adds 3 mm to the finished height, to be included in the build-up calculation.

It is most useful on upper-floor terraces, on roof terraces and with large-format tiles, where clatter is most noticeable.

A self-leveling head that makes up the slope on its own

The pedestal's pivoting head locks automatically in the slab's position when it is laid and compensates for up to 5% slope. The height is set with the adjustment ring, before laying the surface, by hand and without tools.

Compatible with all your terrace surfaces

The pedestal takes concrete slabs, porcelain stoneware and 2 cm outdoor tiles, as well as duckboards, without joints or glue. The 3 mm spacer tabs built into the head ensure an even joint between each slab. The terrace stays ventilated, removable and accessible at all times.

How many do you need?

Allow 1 pedestal at each slab corner, i.e. 4 pedestals per slab in a straight layout. For formats from 60 x 60 cm, add a central pedestal by breaking off the spacer tabs. As the pack contains one pad per pedestal, the quantity ordered matches your pedestal count directly.
