20 cm stair step for wood or slabs – MODULESCA Jouplast. The MODULESCA outdoor staircase revolutionizes the construction of garden stairs. Using the outdoor stair step

No more long, drawn-out work to install an outdoor staircase: with MODULESCA, it becomes child's play and takes only half a day.

Ground preparation

• Mark out the location of the staircase.
• Excavate the area to a depth of 10 cm.
• Dig 1 m wide and 20 cm deep to house the first element.
• Line the bottom with gravel (0-20) and place the module on it.

Installing the staircase

• Check with a spirit level that the module is straight.
• Fill with gravel to hold it in place, without blocking the slides.
• Place the next module and fit the lugs into the nuts.
• Slide the module against the bank and fix it with 3 screws.
• Apply pressure to the step while fixing it.

Cladding the steps

• Wood cladding: position and screw the joists, then screw on the wooden boards, leaving a gap of 3 to 5 mm between the boards.
• Slab cladding: pour concrete mixed at 350 kg up to the brim, glue the slabs onto the treads and risers, then leave to dry for 48 h before use.
