Using the 93 cm outdoor stair step

No need to take on major works any more: with the MODULESCA stair modules, building your staircase is child's play! Allow half a day to install an outdoor staircase, after preparing your ground properly.

Ground preparation in 4 steps

1. Mark out the location of the staircase.
2. Excavate the area to a depth of 10 cm.
3. Dig to house the first element of the structure: 1 m wide and 20 cm deep.
4. Line the bottom with gravel (0-20), compact it, then place the module on it.

Assembling the modules

• Use a spirit level to check that the installation is straight.
• Fill the module with gravel to hold it firmly in place, without blocking the slides.
• Add the next module and fit the lugs into the nuts.
• Slide the module against the bank, then fix it with 3 screws.

Cladding the steps, in wood or slabs

• Wooden outdoor stairs: lay and fix the joists, then screw the wooden boards onto the joists, leaving a gap of 3 to 5 mm between the boards.
• Slab outdoor stairs: pour concrete up to the brim, glue the slabs onto the treads and risers, then wait 48 h for it to dry.

Assembly uses a notch and slide system in reinforced synthetic material. The modules are locked with 3 screws (6X40 TX25), supplied with the module.
