Lock your edge joists neatly in place

On a wooden deck, self-leveling pedestals work wonders in the middle of the structure: the head pivots and compensates for the slope of the substrate. At the perimeter, however, the joist is supported on one side only — and that same freedom of movement becomes a drawback. The head tips, the joist twists and the edge of the deck loses its alignment.

The EASIO® side finish solves exactly this problem. Inserted under the head of the joist pedestal, it neutralizes the self-leveling function and locks the joist in position. The result: a stable, straight and durable deck perimeter.

A movable part, independent of the pedestal head

Unlike a fixed stop, the side finish is positioned independently of the pedestal head. You are free to choose its orientation to suit the direction of your edge, with no assembly constraints.

Another key advantage on site: once the finish is in place, the pedestal height can still be adjusted. No need to take everything apart to correct a level. This patented system saves real time on last-minute adjustments.

Installation

1. Position the finish under the pedestal head, with the JOUPLAST® logo facing up.
2. To make insertion easier, tilt the pedestal head by pressing on one of the tabs.
3. Insert the finish from the opposite side, then release.

Built to last outdoors

Molded in 100% recycled polypropylene, the side finish withstands temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C and resists UV and frost. It copes with freeze/thaw cycles and the hottest summers, year after year. Black, discreet under the structure.

Compatibility

This finish is specifically designed for Jouplast's EASIO® self-leveling joist pedestal range. It combines with the EASIO® 60 mm extensions and the adjustment bit to cover every height on your project.
